James Lochren, Chairman of the Board

James grew up on Long Island, NY where he found his passion for entrepreneurship. In 1989, James founded Jenco Ready Mix Concrete in Bay Shore, NY. After building a very successful operation, James moved to Raleigh, NC in 2006 to open his second concrete plant in Knightdale, followed by a third, located in Moncure, in 2017. James is still heavily involved in the operations of Capital Ready Mix, where he serves as CEO. In his free time, he loves to travel and spend time with his wife, four daughters and six grandchildren.

Sara Lochren Pittman

Sara Lochren, CEO

Sara grew up on Long Island, NY where she attended Stony Brook University to pursue a BA in Psychology. After college, Sara lived in Florence, Italy for two years where she studied culinary arts and hospitality management. After returning to the US, she moved to Raleigh, NC to work for her family concrete business, Capital Ready Mix Concrete, where she still serves as Chief Financial Officer. In 2017, Sara founded Capital Dumpster Service alongside her father, James. Since 2017 she has served as CEO of Capital Dumpster Service and has been responsible for Capital’s growth, operations and long term strategy. Capital Dumpster was acquired by Meridian Waste in June 2022, so Sara could serve as CEO as her father retired. Sara recently earned her MBA from Duke University in December of 2020. David Moss

David Moss, VP of Technical Services

David has been in the concrete industry in both Raleigh and Charlotte since 1996. He started in the ready-mix industry and spent most of his time in quality control eventually managing his department. He sold chemical admixtures for 2 years and most recently worked at Titan America selling flyash for over 13 years. David has designed mixes that include high performance mixes for parking decks and high strength precast bridge beams in Charlotte. David is a NRMCA Level 3 Certified Concrete Technologist along with certifications from NCDOT and ACI. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor sporting events and watching his daughter play competitive soccer.

Zeke Bridges

Executive Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel

Zeke attended the University of Georgia earning two B.A. degrees. After college, Zeke pursued his J.D. degree at Campbell Law School. Following graduation, he founded Bridges Law Firm in Cary and for a decade focused his legal practice on real estate, corporate law, and estate planning. During his time in private practice, Zeke was awarded a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review rating of AV Preeminent distinction of 5 out of 5. For the last ten and half years he has served as Vice Dean at Campbell Law School. Zeke joined the Capital team in May of 2023, and brings with him two decades of professional and legal experience.
Zeke is active in the legal profession, holding memberships in the Raleigh Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the North Carolina Bar Association Corporate Counsel Section. He is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Zeke is also immensely active in his local community having served in leadership positions for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina, among others. He resides in Wake County with his wife and their two daughters. As a former amateur boxer, Zeke enjoys lifting and watching Showtime boxing.

Steve Ross

Steve Ross, VP of Operations

Steven Ross began working in the concrete industry the summer of 1986 and worked part-time with several different concrete companies over the next three decades.

He spent 31 years in public education as a teacher, coach, athletic director and as an administrator.  Prior to his retirement he spent the last four years of his educational career as the principal of a high school in the central region of North Carolina.

Steven joined Capital Ready Mix Concrete in the spring of 2021 and thoroughly enjoys working with a team of dedicated and hard-working professionals.

He holds a BA in from North Carolina Central University, and an MSA from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

He is married and has three adult daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys working on the family farm, building furniture, and watching college football.
